Motivation
In 2010 I started working with Internet Service Provider(ISP) and since then I see how Internet is IMPORTANT for everybody. Internet today is inclusion! I have created this webpage to try help people who makes the internet happens. Mainly ISP that work with technologies like wifi, because this is the real Inclusion. I will tell you why. Each time more big companies are putting Internet cables in big centers where have a high aglomeration of people... BUT... forgetting the ones who are far from there, the ones that are being excluded from this IOT revolution. Why am I deffending wireless? Well, in my point of view, it's the best technology to bring THE INTERNET closer to whom are far from the "civilization". No more. Let's all cooperate for connect each time more people!!
Education and Experience
ISPs and Wireless
As I said, ISP stands for Internet Service Provider. Since the beginning ISPs adopted Wireless(no wire) as technology for data distribution. Even now that Optical Fiber is getting cheaper, wireless still widely used. In my opinion, the reason for this event is the agility to expand the network using wireless, and a reasonable penetration rate achieved throw wireless towers repeaters. My goal is to show that wireless distribution isn't that hard. Of course we need study and it requires some acknowledgement about networking. Considering you already have this theoretical base and perspective about Internet provision, I will show real cases and what technologies/ equipments were utilized. In the end, a final report will be presented to prove the efficiency or for comparisons purposes.
NOTE - Before starting spreading out any Radio Frequency Signal, you have to check whether some licence is required. For example in Brazil we have the agency ANATEL and in United States(USA), we have the Federal Communication Commission(FCC).
Case 1 - Simple Point-to-Point(PTP)
PTP, using wireless technologies, is the principle of connecting two remotes points using radiofrequency. A PTP is composed by at least two equipments (i) An access Point repeater(AP), and (ii) a receiver equipment called client (CLI). The AP is for convention in the side where the Internet Link comes from, and the CLI is set up in the end point where we want to receive this Internet Link. In order to "close" a PTP connection using wireless, the point A, MUST have sight to the point B. After this main exigency, we can start calculating the needs to send Internet Link to the end point.
